I never expected my life’s work to lead me into end-of-life care. Like many, this path emerged through lived experience—through introspection and experiencing deep grief, transition, and love. After relocating to Florida and navigating profound personal loss, I came to understand that grief is not limited to death alone. It includes the loss of identity, roles, relationships, and the life we once knew.
My calling became clear during my mother’s journey with dementia. Supporting my family through complex medical decisions and witnessing the power of compassionate hospice care deeply shaped me. My mother passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family—a sacred experience that revealed the importance of preparation, presence, and honoring her wishes.
Today, I serve as an advanced directives facilitator, an end-of-life/death doula, and I offer calm guidance, emotional and spiritual support, and compassionate presence. My work is grounded in my christian faith and the belief that preparing for the end of life is an act of love—and that holding space for others is one of life’s greatest honors.

At Peaceful Crossroads we envision a culture where death is no longer a taboo topic, but a shared human experience approached with honesty, preparation, and care.
Death work is often complicated — shaped by emotions, family dynamics, and unspoken fears —
our work exists to help bring clarity, and reassurance when the time comes to navigate the process of loss.
Our mission is to help people talk about death — by offering tools, guidance, and space to express wishes, reduce confusion, and bring grace into one of life’s hardest but most sacred transitions.

Preparing for end of life
is not a surrender, but a gift.
A quiet act of love
that opens space to reflect
on what matters most.
It is a way of saying:
These are my hopes.
These are my values.
This is the peace I wish to
leave behind.
By choosing to prepare,
we ease the weight on those
we love, so they may step
forward without doubt,
without wondering,
held by the clarity of our wishes.
In this tender planning,
love becomes a guide,
and forgiveness becomes
a bridge—
a legacy of gentleness
carried long after we are gone.
May my choices whisper:
I have cared enough to
prepare with intention.
I leave you peace for
the journey ahead.
I love you.
